How to make chicken patties in air fryer
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, garlic paste, onion powder, paprika, red pepper flakes (if using), parsley, salt and pepper. Using your hand, gently mix until well combined.
Divide the mixture into 6-8 portions and form into patties at about 1 cm thickness.
Make a shallow dent in the middle of each patty. This will prevent the patties from puffing up while cooking.
Preheat your air fryer to 390°F/185°C. Grease the air fryer basket with olive oil or cooking spray.
Place chicken patties in a single layer dimple side up and cook for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165F/74C.
Remove the patties from the air fryer basket as the residual will continue the chicken. Rest it on a plate for 2 minutes before serving it. Enjoy!
Stove top instructions
Place a griddle pan or frying pan on medium-high heat.
Spray cooking oil over the patties.
Once the pan is hot, carefully place the patties into the hot pan. Cook for 3 minutes before flipping, and cook for 3 minutes or until fully cooked and the internal temperature registers 165F/74C.
