How to Store Cake
To store this yummy moist cake, wrap in clingfilm or an airtight container before storing in the fridge so it doesn’t dry out or catch the smell in your fridge.
Orange cake or any other sponge cake would last up to 5 days in the fridge. You could also leave on the kitchen counter for up to 5 days. I prefer mine in the fridge, cakes are perishable and I want to be safe than sorry.
In the freezer: make sure the cake cools down completely, cut it into desired slices and wrap individually in a clingfilm or airtight container and store in the freezer for up to 6 months.

First time cake baker. It was delicious but it stuck to the pans when I moved it to the cooling racks. Please explain what “line” meant because I think I skipped that step
Thanks

This recipe turned out really nice and fluffy. Instead of using cake tins, I turned this recipe into a sheet cake (using a normal-sized cookies tray) and it turned out really really well! Would definitely recommend this cake. It was so nice and easy to make and delicious to eat!

Made this cake for my partner’s birthday yesterday and he says it’s one of the best things I’ve ever made (and I bake a lot)...! Great, easy-to-make recipe. I added a teaspoon of vanilla to the batter and since he’s not big into frosting, I just put some dulce de leche between the two layers. Wonderful - thank you!
