This tutorial will show you how to cook old bay salmon and how long to cook frozen salmon in an air fryer. It comes out moist and flaky just as it should. No defrosting is needed and you can have a healthy dinner from your air fryer to your table in 20 minutes.
2teaspoonsold Bay Seasoning or any other seasoning of your choice
1Tablespoonolive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Fresh lemon juice to serve
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 375F/190C for 2-3 minutes. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil
Remove the frozen fish from its packing (fillet or side) and place it (skin side) in the air fryer basket.
Brush or spray the fresh part of the fish with cooking oil and season the salt and black pepper
Air fry the frozen salmon for 5 minutes, remove the air fryer basket from the air fryer, and sprinkle old bay seasoning on the salmon.
Continue to cook for another 5 minutes then check the thickest part of the fish with a meat thermometer. The temperature should register at least 145F/62C if fully cooked. Continue to cook for an additional 3-5 minutes or until the fish is fully cooked and flaky with a fork.
Note: If cooking salmon side then it is important to flip it once during the cooking time for even cooking. Serve and enjoy!

How to store and reheatCooked salmon can be stored in an airtight container and refrigerated for up to 3 days. It can also be frozen for up to 2 months. When ready to eat, reheat in the air fryer or oven until warmed through.
