  • 6 Thin pork chops about 100g each
  • 2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • ½ teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Mix the seasoning: In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, dried sage, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper and stir to combine.

  • Pat the thin pork chops with a kitchen paper towel to draw out moisture.

  • Drizzle olive oil on the pork chops, then add the seasoning and rub into the meat, ensuring both sides are well coated.

  • Place the pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. You can cook in batches if need be.
  • Cook at 400F/ 200C for 6 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
  • Remove the pork chops immediately from the air fryer basket and transfer them to a plate so they don't dry out. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
    Note: Depending on the doneness you are aiming for, according to the USDA, the internal temperature of pork chops should register at least 145°F / 63C when checked with a meat thermometer.

Tips
  • For best results, make sure the pork chops are not crowded in the air fryer basket. This will ensure even cooking and crispy edges.
  • You can also marinate the pork chops for a few hours or overnight for more flavor. Refrigerate them in a ziplock bag with the marinade before cooking.
  • Feel free to adjust the seasoning according to your preference. You can also add some cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.
  • Don't have an air fryer? No problem! You can still make these thin pork chops in the oven. Preheat your oven to 400°F/200C, season as instructed, and cook for 12-15 minutes. There is no need to flip halfway through the cooking time.
