Juicy honey garlic pork chops! Boned pork chops perfectly cooked in honey garlic sauce. It was beautiful, tender and moist. The pork chops were seared and then finished off on the grill. This recipe is easy and quick which makes it perfect for a quick midweek dinner. It only requires a handful of ingredients too.
3Bone-in Pork chops substitute for boneless pork chops
Salt and pepper to season
2tablespoonsunsalted butter softened or at room temperature
2tablespoonsparsley chopped or use as desired
2tablespoonsolive oil
Honey garlic sauce ingredients
3tablespoonsrunny Honey
1½tablespoonsoy sauce
2large garlic cloves chopped about ½ tablespoon
1teaspoondried sage
1tablespoonapple cider vinegar
½tablespoonsmoked paprika
Pinchof chilli powder
Instructions
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides and set aside
Followed by the honey garlic sauce, to a small bowl, add honey, minced garlic, dried sage, smoked paprika, chilli powder, apple cider vinegar and soy sauce and mix to combine then set aside.
Place a skillet on medium heat, add the olive oil and heat until hot or when the oil starts shimmering. Add the seasoned pork chops and sear until browned for 2 minutes on each side
Move the pork chops around in the skillet to create a well in the middle, then add the softened butter then move it around the skillet until melted. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the pork chops and continue to cook for another minute or 2 basting the pork chops with the sauce and flipping it once during this time.
Finally, this step is optional but recommended for a caramelised finish. Preheat the oven grill and broil for 1 to 3 minutes. Please note: the sauce might separate when grilled do not fret as this is completely fine.
Transfer the pork chops to a plate, sprinkle some chopped parsley over it and cover with a foil, rest the pork chops for at least 5 minutes before serving.

Tips to the best juicy and moist pork chops everAllow the meat to come to room temperature before cooking. i.e. bring it out of the fridge 30 minutes before cooking so it comes to room temperature. That would allow the pork to cook evenly.Not sure your pork is properly cooked, use a meat thermometer and the internal temperature should read 145F/62CIt is tempting to serve your meat immediately after cooking but please let this honey garlic pork chop rest between 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
