Check that the corn can fit into your instant pot pressure cooker. Cut the corn into twos if it doesn’t fit to make mini corn cobs. Wash the corn if need be especially if it’s from the supermarket
Place your trivet or steamer basket in the instant pot, add 1 cup of water
Stack the corn on the trivet, husked or not, lock the IP with its lid and turn the valve to the sealing position
Cook the corn on high pressure or manual for 2 minutes, then do a quick release to depressurise the pot. For frozen corn, cook for 3 minutes
Carefully take the ears of corn out from the pot using a tong. Brush some melted butter and a sprinkle of salt and black pepper on the cooked corn. Serve and enjoy.
