Ingredients
  

  • 1 Long French Baguette
  • 150 g good quality butter softened
  • 1 tablespoon parsley finely chopped use less quantity if desired
  • 3 garlic cloves minced about 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350F/ 180C
  • Cut the baguette into about 1 cm slices but not cutting it all through (see image for reference) It looks like hassle back potato at this point.
  • Add softened butter, garlic and chopped parsley to a bowl and mix to combine
  • spread each layer of the baguette slices with garlic parsley butter. spread the remaining garlic butter over the bread. Wrap it in a foil, transfer to a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until crispy to preference. Serve immediately

Notes

Tips
Use freshly minced garlic for this recipe. If you don’t have one, use good quality garlic granules/powder. Do not use jarred or garlic paste. They don’t taste like the real deal especially on this bread.
Skip salt in the ingredient list if you are using salted butter
