Easy Pico de Gallo Recipe

Ajoke
Easy pico de gallo salsa recipe made with fresh tomatoes, jalapeno, parsley (cilantro) and lime juice. It is easy, quick, simple and ready within minutes. This Mexican sauce is fresh, mildly flavoured even with the addition of chopped onions, healthy and delicious. I love to serve mine with tortilla chips, egg sauce and tacos.

Notes

Perfect Tips For Pico De Gallo Salsa

  • For the best Pico de gallo, make it on the day you need it to avoid the ingredients leeching excess water. Remember it is not salsa. That being said, it can last longer than a day but you might just need to drain off excess liquid when you need to serve it.
  • Use fresh, ripe and firm tomatoes for this salsa recipe all the time.
  • Leave the pico de gallo to rest for some few minutes before serving in other for it to build flavour
  • Adjust the recipe to suit your preference. I am not a fan of fresh parsley (cilantro) hence why I used a little quantity.
