Learn how to cook crispy skin salmon in the air fryer in 15 minutes. This air fryer salmon is easy and quick to make, the spice rub is customizable and you only need 7 minutes of active cooking time.
1TablespoonOlive oilsubstitute with any other flavourless oil of choice
1teaspoonsmoked paprika substitute with sweet paprika
1teaspoongarlic granulessubstitute with freshly minced garlic cloves
½teaspoononion granules
salt and freshly ground black pepper to tasteI used less than a teaspoon each

Instructions
Preheat the air fryer at 200C/400F for 5 minutes
To a small bowl, add smoked paprika, garlic granules, onions granules, salt and black pepper and stir to combine.
Pat the salmon dry with a kitchen papper towel. Drizzle the olive oil on the fillets.
Sprinkle the fish seasoning on each of the fillets and pat it down into the fish using your hands.
Carefully place the salmon in the air fryer basket and cook at 200C/400F for 7 to 8 minutes or until the internal temperature registers 120F/50C. The fish would continue to cook as it rests. You will tknow the fish is done if it flakes apart easily with a fork.
Remove it from the air fryer and serve with other sides of choice

How to storeFridge: leave the salmon to cool completely and store in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container.Freezer: You can freeze the salmon for up to 3 months in an airtight container or a Ziploc freezer bag making sure you take out as much air as possible.
