Instructions
Place a pan on medium heat, add butter and leave to melt. Add all-purpose flour and whisk to combine to form a paste and cook for about a minute.
Reduce the heat add the milk gradually to the paste until a smooth lump-free sauce is formed. Simmer on low heat for another 5 minutes or until the sauce no longer have a floury taste. Season with salt and pepper to taste
Add chopped parsley and mix to combine. Take it off the heat and serve over baked or steamed fish, ham, gammon, mashed potatoes or boiled baby potatoes and enjoy.

Cover sauce with a clingfilm until needed to avoid a skin forming on it.
If the sauce is too thick, add more milk.
