2tablespoonstomato paste: This is optional but it helps in enriching the colour and deepens the flavour of the sauce.
1teaspoondried basil: substitutes for fresh basil
1teaspoondried oregano
1teaspoonsalt
2tablespoonsvirgin olive oil
1teaspoongarlic granules
1teaspoononion powder
Instructions
Add passata, oregano, basil, onion powder, garlic granules, olive oil and salt into a saucepan and place over medium heat. Mix to combine and simmer for 10 minutes while stirring occasionally so it doesn’t burn or stick to the bottom of the pan.
