Start by prepping the vegetables, peel and slice the onion, and cut up the bell peppers into similar size strips. Transfer into a bowl or large ziplock bag then set aside. Cut the sausage links if it is not separated already.
Preheat the air fryer to 360F/180C for 5 minutes.
Arrange the sausages in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes shaking the basket halfway through.
In the meantime, season the peppers and onion with salt and black pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and balsamic vinegar, drizzle the olive oil on top of it and mix all to combine.
Remove the basket from the air fryer after 5 minutes, add the seasoned peppers and onions and spread it out in an even layer. Cook for another 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through or until the vegetables are tender and the sausages are cooked through.
The internal temperature of the sausage must be cooked to 160F/73C for safe consumption. Serve your air fryer sausage and peppers as desired. Enjoy!
