These baked pork meatballs are so easy and quick to make, it is made with ground pork, herbs, spices, breadcrumbs, and egg. It makes about 20 pork meatballs and it's ready in 30 minutes. These delicious little morsels are tender, juicy, and succulent and would literally melt in your mouth. Serve it with some tomato sauce over pasta or a sub roll or even as it is on a bed of everyday salad
500gground pork also known as pork mince (12% fat)
¾cuppanko breadcrumbs
1medium eggabout 55g
½Tablespoongarlic granules
½teaspoononion powder
2Teaspoonsdried sageor as needed
1teaspoonsmoked paprika
Cayenne pepper to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200C/400F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or place a wire rack on the baking sheet.
In a large bowl, add ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, dried sage, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic granules, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix together until the pork mixture comes together.
Scoop the meat mixture with a small cookie dough scoop or a Tablespoon and roll the meat mixture into 1 ½ inch to 2 inches balls. You should get about 20 balls.
Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, spray the top with cooking oil spray and bake in the oven for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.You will know the meatballs are cooked when the internal temperature registers 160F/71C. There is no need to rest the meatballs before consuming and they can be served immediately as desired. Enjoy!
