Baked Furikake Salmon Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g salmon fillets 3-4 fillets
  • cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons furikake seasoning or adjust to taste
  • ½ Tablespoon garlic minced
  • Salt and black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Bring the salmon out of the fridge for about 15-30 minutes so it comes to room temperature. cut the salmon into fillets if you haven't already and you can also cook the whole side if you prefer. Pat the salmon dry with a kitchen paper towel and preheat the oven to 200C/400F
  • To a small bowl, add mayonnaise, and minced garlic and mix to combine.
    ⅓ cup mayonnaise, ½ Tablespoon garlic minced
  • Lightly spray a rimmed baking dish with cooking oil and place the salmon fillets inside skin side down.
  • Season the salmon with salt and black pepper, divide the mayo-garlic mixture evenly over each piece of salmon, and spread it out to cover the top of the fish.
  • Sprinkle the furikake seasoning over each salmon fillet and spread it out evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the fish is cooked through. Take it out of the oven and serve. Enjoy!

Air fryer furikake salmon instructions

  • Follow the prepping and seasoning steps above.
  • Preheat the air fryer at 200C/400F for 3-5 minutes
  • Carefully place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket skin side down and air fry for 7-8 minutes or until the internal temperature registers 120F/50C. Serve and enjoy!
