Ingredients for IP pressure cooker mashed potatoes
Potatoes: I used king Edwards potatoes which is like an equivalent to Yukon gold or Russets potatoes. These are some of the best potatoes to use for mashed potatoes. Whatever potato you choose, ensure it is the floury and starchy type.
Chicken Broth: I thought I should try something new with my mashed potatoes especially since this is a no drain recipe so I used broth instead of water. I think I am now converted.
Butter: when making mashed potatoes I don’t skimp on the quality of butter I use. Quality butter all the way here. Trust me, you would thank me for it.
Salt and pepper: to taste
Milk: Full-fat milk or use half and half
