What order to cook vegetables in stir-fries
After you have sautéd your aromatics such as onions and garlic, you then sauté the vegetables from the one that is the hardest to the softest. For example, if you are stir-frying carrots, bell peppers and broccoli, you should stir fry the carrots first then broccoli and peppers. That said, there are no hard rules to this method, it just makes sense to cook the crunchiest vegetables first.
Can you reheat stir fry
Yes, you can, make sure to store the stir fry in the fridge as soon as it cools down in an airtight container. You can reheat it in the microwave or on the stovetop until hot.
Can you freeze stir fry?
Yes, transfer the stir fry into a Ziploc freezer bag or an airtight container and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge and reheat on the stove or in the microwave.
