Why you will love this stove top turkey steak recipe
- It is a healthier alternative to beef, packed with great nutrients! it is also low in fat and high in protein. A 100 g of cooked turkey provides you with 30g of protein, that's a win in my book
- Turkey steak or cutlets often gets the hype it deserves mostly because people feel it is a lean white meat and can easily dry out if not prepared properly. It is cut from boneless turkey breast This recipe will make you think twice, the cutlets are quickly cooked in hot oil over high heat to lock in flavors yet leave you with tender and juicy meat.
- You can use any spices or herbs of choice to season it making it versatile and more importantly, you need simple everyday ingredients and the cooking instructions are super easy to follow.
- If you can't be bothered with cooking a whole turkey but fancy a turkey dinner then cooking this steak or cutlets is an amazing option.
- It can be served the same you serve your beef or pork steaks.

- Olive oil
- Unsalted butter
- Salt and black pepper

How to cook turkey steaks on the stove
To a small bowl, add cajun seasoning and Italian seasoning and stir to combine.
Pat the turkey steaks with a kitchen paper towel to remove any excess moisture and season with salt and black pepper.
Sprinkle the seasoning mix over both sides of the turkey steak and rub it in to coat evenly.
Place a heavy bottom skillet or cast iron on medium-high heat, add olive oil, swirl to coat the pan, and heat until shimmering hot.
