What you'll need to make creamy tuna pasta bake
Canned tuna: I used a combination of tuna packed in brine and sunflower oil. Any type you choose to use will be fine for this recipe
Pasta: I used rigatoni, substitute with ziti, penne or any other type of pasta of choice
Canned Sweetcorn
Frozen green peas
Passata: this is a strained tomato sauce, substitute with any pasta sauce of choice.
Cream cheese: I used low-fat cream cheese to keep this recipe as healthy as possible. Full-fat cream cheese would work just fine too.
Herb de Provence: substitute with Italian seasoning or mixed herb (if you live in the UK)
Sugar: this is optional but recommended as it helps take the edge off the sourness of the tomatoes.
Onion
Garlic: substitute with garlic powder or granules.
Salt and pepper

Tips
- Instead of topping the pasta with just cheddar cheese, you can use a combination of cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese.
- Make sure you don't overcook that pasta so that it doesn't get soggy as it continues to cook in the oven
- Aside from sweetcorn and peas, you can add carrots, mushrooms, or any other type of vegetable you like.
- If you want a little bit of crunch in your pasta bake, you can top it with some seasoned breadcrumbs before adding the cheese on top.
How to store and reheat pasta bake
Cooked pasta can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
