Air fryer Salmon bites recipe
This air fryer salmon bite is unbelievably effortless to make, anyone can do it! Furthermore, it's fail-proof and can be ready for your dinner table quickly. One of the key steps in making this recipe is removing the skin of the salmon. However, this extra chore can be avoided if you buy a skinless one.
I seasoned the fish bites with spices and herbs that complement the salmon deliciously (smoked paprika, dill, and thyme). But feel free to use whichever blend or individual ingredients your taste buds crave! Try my fish seasoning or Peri peri seasoning.
After air-frying these little fish pieces to perfection, I tossed in my homemade lemon butter caper sauce. It was good that it was not too overwhelming but just enough to enhance the salmon flavor. The whole dish tasted like something you would get in a fancy restaurant.

What you will need

Salmon fillets or sides: I used fresh salmon, but you can also use a frozen one. Just make sure it is completely thawed before cooking for a better result.
Smoked paprika: sub with sweet paprika
Dried dillweed

How to remove salmon skin
Here is a quick overview of how to remove the skin on salmon. Start by placing the salmon fillet on a flat cutting board, flesh side up. Run your knife at an angle slightly down along the top of the skin to detach it from the flesh.
Then, slowly but firmly run the knife through the skin, avoiding the flesh (you should only scrape through the fish and not cut into it). While doing this, ensure you are gripping the skin by its edge and pulling away in one steady motion.
