You only need a handful of ingredients, cooking oil, seasoning or herbs, salt, and pepper. That's it! I like to season my steak with my homemade pork rub, it is robust and simply the best. It adds so much flavor and makes the meat juicy and moist.
It is also important to cook the meat at the right temperature. I find that cooking air fryer pork steak at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 8-10 minutes works perfectly depending on the thickness of the steak.

Internal temperature of cooked pork
It is important to cook meat to at the right temperature to avoid foodborne illnesses. Pork meat unlike beef steak needs to be cooked to an internal temperature of 145F/63C. This is the recommended minimum internal cooking temperature by the USDA.
However, I like to cook it to an internal temperature of 160F/71C which might be too done for some. However, you will achieve a juicy and moist steak at this temperature.
The minimum temperature of pork meat doneness should be
Medium-rare: 145–150F / 63–66C
Medium: 150–155F / 66–68C
Medium-well: 155–160F / 68–71C
Well done: 160F / 71C

I have loved and eaten pork steaks since I was in college living off campus in a trailer with two other broke guys. I was the cook the other two, indentured servants for clean up. These were the cheapest cuts in the store and with rice/potatoe and greens if I could get the children to eat them. Well the porksteaks stuck with me longer than than the roomates and one wife. I'm 73 now and still cookin. I usually cook outside with meat but 10inch snow in Arkansas, of all places, kept me in. Had a couple steaks so tried your technique and my they were very good. More moist that the grill and my feet didn't get cold. Stir fry vegies over rice on the side. Yum Yum.

I tried out this recipe today. It was just awesome. I did pork ribeye steaks, I used a ready-made South African Weber spice mix, called Backyard Shisanyama Spice, which is quite spicy. Sprayed with vegetable oil. Air-fried at 200C for 7 minutes. It turned out as tender as a beef fillet. This is now my go-to recipe for pork steaks. Thank you for sharing.

Loved this recipe and it's great with pictures and video!! I didn't use all of the seasoning so I will have some left for next time! I just didn't add any cayenne pepper in because I wanted the kids to eat it!! This will definitely be on our favourite list to cook for dinner! Many thanks for sharing! Look forward to checking out your other recipes!
